7 ‘A Beautiful Mess’ tutorials I Might Actually Do

a beautiful mess

The lovely duo over at A Beautiful Mess recently put together a collection of tutorials that you can accomplish for under $10 and so many of them were things that I actually really wanted to do!

Line your shelves with fabric using rubber cement. This would be awesome in our nightstands.

Easy embroidery tutorial for clothes (or anything).

Andy Warhol style pop-art for pet portraits. I KNOW some of my friends with dogs would LOVE this one.

Make your own statement wall with a stamp. I love this idea because the stick on decals never stick to my walls. The little anchors are so cute too.

I never thought about how handy an overhead projector would come in for DIY. This tutorial is gorgeous! ^^^ I’m going to keep an eye out for a projector at thrift stores.

I have the perfect outdated serving tray at home that I’m definitely going to try this on.

We have some plain white blackout curtains up in our room right now and I wonder if I can make them look as good as these. The color scheme is even perfect for our room.
